You could for example try different treats, or place it on the ground for a while, or in a different location. I bought 2 of these for the run and they’re great! They’re a great way to keep treats off the floor (especially helpful in the winter) and they provide lots of entertainment. My hens love pecking greens out of them!

I bought this to keep the chickens occupied during the Avian Flu lockdown. It has been a great success. They love it. Even now they are back outside we have continued to use it. It’s fab for filling with cabbage leaves which they love to peck at during the day. We’ve also used it with apples.
