Chickens don’t use it
Solid, construction fine but as per other reviews. Chickens simply don’t use it. Still frightened if it moves after over a month

Hi Owen,
Thank you for your message. It can take indeed some extra training for some chickens to get them to eventually use their swing. You can find useful tips here

Only smart girls know how to use it
I put some treat grain in it. Big corn doesn't come out but I'm happy with it.
But only smart girls know the way to use.
And if the chicken doesn't peck strong enough, nothing is coming out and my chickens seem disappointed

Omlet response:
Hi Kathleen,
We are sorry to read that your chicken does not seem interested in our Caddi Treat Holder.
Chickens are creatures of habit, it might take them a while to pick up this new habit. You could for example try different treats, or place it on the ground for a while, or in a different location. Sometimes, it only takes the dominant chicken to show interest, before the others follow.
We hope that you find a solution, don't hesitate to get in touch with us as well for further advice.

They love it!
Girls love this toy. It only lasts about 15mins because they peck at it until all the food has gone but they seem to enjoy finding the food that’s fallen out (and I only use their normal pellets).
It’s been a good distraction for integrating new hens to the flock too!

Love It
These look gorgeous and the chickens love them. I bought 2 short and one long and put them in a corner. Short on the bottom (shin height), then large (waist height), then short at the top (eye level). They love all 3, and hopping from one to another. They like to get on the large middle one and peck me for attention while I'm cleaning. Completely recommend.

Great idea but needs some improving features
My hens love this and it keeps them occupied for awhile. An improvement would be an opening that could slide open and closed on the top for refilling. In order to refill it, I need to remove it totally from the ground and turn it upside down which causes food to fall out. I'm not sure about what is the best grain to put into it. I put mixed bird seeds in it and the small grains(milo, millet just fall out. Probably, just sunflower seeds would work better. I don't use cracked corn since my chickens get this all the time and wouldn't care about getting it out of the peck toy.
