Well worth it

We unscrew and rescrew the pegs weekly when we move our run around the garden. Easy to spot in the grass and really does the job. Perfect!

I am so very happy with my purchase. It is very easy to clean. I am 70 and find the pull out try light and easy to handle. My chickens were very happy to come out of lockdown today. Whilst the threat of bird flu kept them under cover for 3 months it was very easy to care for them in their new Iglu cube and run complete with wind break, heavy duty rain cover and sun shade. I was able to add feed and water without entering their run. The automatic door and easy cleaning from the rear also done without entering their run.

Everything is excellent except the ladder to the Eglu My girls had great difficulty using it, so they flew to the top and flew out of the coop in the morning. I’ve had a wooden ramp with slats for their feet to grasp made and they’re much happier. Would love it if you had a ramp rather than a ladder

Thanks for leaving us a review John! Occasionally some chickens do struggle with the ladder. We usually suggest encouraging them up and down it with treats as an incentive, slowly but surely they tend to get the hang of it. Glad to hear you've found an alternative that suits you though!

Even though its quite expensive its well worth the dollars, i love my eglu up, the chickens love it, too. i can sleep peacfully knowing they arent going to get attacked during the night..I got the wheels and its easy to move even with the 3mtere run attached.And best of all so easy to clean, and hopefully no mites.

Perfect for uneven ground

Our hen run is on uneven and sloping ground and these are perfect for ensuring the skirt is held in place. Also, being able to use the drill attachment means they are quick to position and remove as necessary.

Sturdy and easy to use

I build my coop in the middle of winter in CO in frozen soil. These screws were easy to get into hard soil without breaking. I did not use the drill bit, I just used my hands. They have been great to keep predators out of the run and also keep my run from blowing around in our 80 MPH winds.
