Bought because going away for a few days

This feeder is such a great size. It’s design is fantastic because it keeps the food dry.

This has been fun for the hens and makes feeding them a little more interesting.

Was worried because they avoided it initially and then realized there were treats in there!! Game over for the treats!!!

I purchased the feeding stand due to not having a strong fence to attach the feeder & waterer to , I carry it out to my buff Orpingtons every morning filled with their food & drink & carry in every evening to deter rodents. The girls don t mind at all popping their heads through the feeder lid , & it is very sturdy as they have climbed onto the feeder a few times & they are big girls Would highly recommend

I've put herbs and various weeds into it so far and it works well. The girls go up and pull everything out. This wouldn't be a good option for small treats like pellets, corn, etc, only larger sized items such as the various greens.

I got one of these with my new Eglu cube and it's no easier to get the food in than the last model. I carry food around in a large plastic jug and it's impossible to pour food into without spilling it. Granted, the food stays dry in there but that's no good if the food won't go into it! You have to unhook it, lay it on its back and then hook it back on. That's no fun in the rain and when you have four henhouses to replenish. I've bought four of the new drinkers instead.

I'm just replacing all of my feeders and drinkers with these. The old and new feeders are really difficult to pour the food into. This is brilliant. It could be improved by putting something on the underside of the carrying handle to stop it cutting into your hands.

I was looking for a rain-proof feeder that hooked onto the fence for a while and couldn't find anything. I came across these and they were just what I was needing. I use them for free choice kelp and oyster shell for my ducks. The ducks can fit their heads inside to get the supplements, and the supplements have not gotten wet even in heavy rain.

No problem assembling the stand, but, with feeder and drinker correctly in place, the feeder has been knocked off the stand by my hens twice within a week, with considerable wastage of food. So no longer using it.
