It takes a little bit more setup and fiddling with to get it adjusted just right for your flock than your typical feed store feeder, but once you do, it is by far the best no-waste feeder setup that I have ever used. Honestly the biggest obstacle is learning to trust it, because I am just not used to NOT seeing food spread all around my feeders! But after you get over that initial shock of having something hold as much feed as this does and then dispensing it in a way that it doesn't all just get wasted, it would be hard to go with any other feeder. I have tried everything from store bought models to homemade inventions, and you just can't beat how well this feeder performs. It is light weight and easy to move around with the handle. I love how easy it is to take apart and clean, and that it really doesn't get that dirty in the first place because the sloped top prevents the chickens from sitting on it. Overall, a really well thought out and designed product.

This feeder added some style to the coop. It is functional with legs to keep it off the ground, super stable and easy to refill. This is my second favorite feeder, as I have been spoiled with the Omlet automatic feeder which I purchased and that is my top choice. But as a second feeder to make sure my girls have plenty of clean food with no spills to attract pests — this is five star! It seems durable and built to last even in the challenging Florida climate.

This large feeder is an investment. There is no feed waste at all. Which is a great savings. I already have 2 bags in storage that I would have used with my old feeder. This is a great feeder for going on vacations. I went on a cruise. I knew they would have more than enough food. I have 13 chickens. I absolutely love this feeder. Thank you

I’ve tried quite a few different poultry drinkers over the years, and this is by far one of the best I’ve used. Keeping water clean can be a constant battle when you keep birds, but this has made a noticeable difference. The insulation helps keep the water cooler in hot weather and slows down freezing during colder spells. More importantly, the design does exactly what it says on the tin – it stays remarkably clean. My chickens and quail are constantly scratching, kicking bedding about and generally making a mess of everything, yet the water stays fresh far longer than with traditional drinkers. As someone building a resilient food system, anything that reduces daily maintenance while improving animal welfare is a win in my book. Less time cleaning drinkers means more time focusing on the rest of the system. Now, let’s be honest, it isn’t cheap. In fact, it’s probably one of those purchases that makes you wince slightly when you click the buy button. But after using it, I’d say it’s 100% worth the money. The build quality is excellent, it’s easy to refill, easy to clean, and it simply works. Sometimes buying the right thing once is cheaper than buying the wrong thing three times. It’s quickly become one of those bits of kit I wouldn’t want to be without. Highly recommended for anyone serious about keeping poultry properly. Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My chickies are still young, in their 6th week, and they took to the feeder within a day or so in their 4th week when we were forced to move to the coop because they had enough of their brooder! Good thing too because I left the old chick feeders in a few days and found one morning a stuck chick trying to get the last out! I was grateful for the Omlet feeders and felt confident everyone was eating out of it. Truly it is no waste and worth the cost. I will have to move them to my coop at night and feel confident that I will have no critters because I hardware clothed the heck out of it. The only downsides are that its easily perchable and since they are still chicks (albeit big) they needed it on the ground which meant bedding in the holes which means sooo heard for me to clean that out now that I filled it with food... But thats is a temporary problem.
