I have been extremely frustrated with the amount of wasted feed for years. I have tried several different types of feeders with the same results with most of the feed spread on the ground uneaten. Then the uneaten feed gets wet, rots and stinks. With only ten hens, I was wasting almost 100 lbs of feed every 1 1/2 weeks. With the Omlet No-waste feeder, waste is truly ZERO! Can’t thank you guys enough for this innovative solution. I’ll see my ROI in a little more than 1 month.

This is a fantastic product that makes one of my chicken chores even easier. It’s light weight, easy to clean and set up, and has lots of options in how to place it in the coop. Great for all weather, especially Texas heat in keeping water at the ideal temperature for my chickens.

Off the ground high enough to keep air flow underneath so the ground dries out yet close enough to the ground for our silkies and bantams to comfortably reach the nipples. The water level meter is very handy and overall hefty-ness of the waterer is nice. The handle is firm and not flimsy. I haven't had it long enough to judge how well it insulates, but I'm betting it meets advertised ranges.

I bought this feeder to have additional feeding stations for my ever growing flock, who were using grandpas feeders. I was wondering how they would respond to having to put their heads inside the feeder, especially some of my crested girls. To my absolute amazement they all circled the feeder a couple of times and then stuck their heads straight in…even my silkie! In fact most days when I go to see what they’re up to I find my silkie having the time of her life eating from the feeder. There is barely any waste, at most I’ve seen about 6 pellets on the ground. I have had one daredevil manage to perch on top and poo on the handle but other than that it’s been a great addition to my set up.

The product itself is fantastic the water inside stays clean not a slight bit of algae or dirt. It’s easy to clean inside and the bonus is how easy it is to fill. My 5 year old and 3 kids have loved being able to help. They can open it carry it when empty to fill which has made there days being able to be more involved. We’ve had frosts and water has been fine the chickens have loved it not having to wait for me to defrost. Not having to worry about the water has made chicken keeping less stressful as don’t have to worry they have not got water. It also looks amazing. Really is nice to look at in the run which I think adds to everything. Even with the cups getting dirty and having to wait for the water to empty or flood the cups it’s worth it in every way. For its looks ease of use and peace of mind. By far the best waterer for chickens on the market I feel.

I ordered this in Nov 2025 and it arrived mid Feb 2026. I ordered it in hopes of not having to carry a 3 gallon waterer on snow and ice all winter and to have something that fills easily (once filled the Omlet is super heavy!). BUT since having it filling it daily is a breeze with a simple top off. The cups do collect dirt but hey, so did the other. I'm not sure if my girls have figured out the nipples. I like that its contained, I like the refill window. It's sturdy! I think it'll be great.

Well-designed waterer perfect for smaller flock sizes! Living in the Upper Midwest it has been a struggle finding a solution to my chicken’s water freezing within a couple of hours. I was nervous my chickens wouldn’t be able to figure out how to use the nipple attachments but they were able to figure it out fairly quick! The waterer has worked great and I’m no longer having to rush outside every few hours to replace water. The key for me in the frigid temperatures is to use warm water in the body so the water doesn’t immediately freeze once it leaves the nipple attachments (I was having that issue when temps were between -4 to 1 degree F). Once the weather gets warmer in my area I’m really excited to try out the cup attachments. I love that it automatically fills so it’s never empty. The waterer is also very easy to clean which is a huge bonus! My only struggle with this waterer is finding a proper platform to set it on so it’s up to my chicken’s beaks but that being my only struggle is a win for me!

We were extremely fortunate enough to be able to test the Insulated Waterer which we were looking at purchasing ourselves anyway. Not only is this product visually pleasing and modernistic, its benefits are exceptional, our flock has figured out how to access their water and some have even attempted drinking from the nipples. We went away for a week over the festive period and had friends volunteer to come over and look after our girls, they checked the water daily but they said it didn’t need filling until our return as there was always clean water inside of it. This does exactly what it says, it keeps the water at a constant insulated temperature, the water is always clean and fresh, and as always with any Omlet product it looks super cool. Thank you Omlet for letting us test it, we are very happy with it, but more importantly so are our hens.

An excellent drinker for a smaller flock. Keeps the water clean and it doesn’t freeze inside the drinker. Highly recommend.
