I bought this last week and am delighted with it. I assembled it by my self so it took some time. I used a YouTube video which was great. I do think it is an expensive product but hope it will last a long time.

After having wooden coops before and knowing how hard they are to keep clean and mite free, the Eglu Go Up is a breeze to clean. 5 mins in the morning to hose the trays and an hour or two in the sun, and all done! I can move it on my own and the chickens have settled in well. I took one star off for how hard it was to put together. But maybe that’s just me. Also wish it had an automatic door option.

Very compitant hubby put this together for me. I could have done it but it would have taken much longer. Now up and running and hens are safe from foxes and goshawk who were big problems before. One buzzard has circled but not bothered to come down. Hens are doing a brilliant job of scratching out moss! I move them twice a day but probably only because I can ie small holding not garden.

We thought it might take them a few nights and need help to get into it as our chickens are not used to climbing up a ladder. But they did it the first night and have started laying. They are so much happier and love their ew home.

This is my second coup, the first was wood and began to fall apart. It was a lengthy build, with a few mistakes, but otherwise easy to follow directions! I was impatient and tried to skip a step so don't do that. Once finished, it was sturdy and so easy to maintain! A good washing now and again and it will last a long time. The best part is that I have predators from land and air so the run is secure and keeps the flock safe. It was easy to move once the wheels were engaged! I'm beyond happy with this product! My chickens just moved outside so we are still using the chick feeders. Next up, teaching them the ladder!

Excellent coop + run for hens. Everything to make life comfortable for chickens and humans has been thought of and catered to.

Night 2, our coop was attacked by a bear. It got through our dog kennel and into the coop area. It pushed the coop over on its side. All the chickens were safe and sound inside the eglu when we found them in the morning. The bottom leg was bent, and the plastic is now scratched but it’s still usable. We purchased 2 coops. One has our 10, 8 week old chickens and the other will soon have our younger chickens in it. We were worried that the coop would be too crowded with the 10 but they all cuddle together and want to be in one. So far we are happy with the ease of use and how easy it is to clean!!

Seriously. This the most hands off coop ever. I moved my 8 week old chicks into it and just had to put them in the coop the first night. I bought the auto door that I programmed to close at 8 and after that first night, they put themselves to bed at 7:50. All i do is go out and check that they all made it in. Which so far…two weeks later, they all do. They actually poop in between the roosting tray at night, so cleaning the lower tray is as simple as dumping and putting fresh pine shavings in. Yes, it takes some tedious time to build…but in my experience, the longer it takes the better quality. If you are on the fence about buying this, DO IT! Seriously. I can’t say enough good things about this. It’s the perfect backyard coop or even on a farm with the ability to move it around so easily.

Chickens are so happy in their new home which offers great peace of mind with the automatic closing door. 5 * luxury for our 5* hens! Expensive, but a quality product which will be long lasting and easy to maintain. Only criticism is the feeder - much prefer the old style round ones and seconded by the girls!
