The shipper screwed up, mashed the run a bit, and Eglu replaced the broken piece, no charge and no problem. The Go unit is sturdy--far sturdier and held together better than the other plastic coop I looked at--and it's easy to put together.

Just assembled our new cube house. Took me much longer than the two hours stated. You can tell it's a quality product and very sturdy. It's quite simplistic design should see it lasting a good many years before any problems arise. The cube house is not much good without at least one possibly two extensions which boosts the price up that much, that this house is fantastic for the chickens but it is very difficult to justify the total cost. Saying that you know the price before you buy and what you get is probably the best chicken house you can buy.

Give yourself time to put together as its not easy, but once done well worth it. Our chickens took to it right away after being in a wood coop. The ladder could almost do with another rung but put a log under it and no problems. We got an extra extension which although not cheap for the cube makes a big difference to the room for chickens and overall look. Would recommend.

Really good but you definitely need some additional space for your chooks! Easy to clean and use and the chooks put themselves to bed after only one day so they must like it too!

I spent many months researching the housing available for my three beautiful girls in advance of moving to a property with a much smaller garden. I chose the Eglu Cube because it looked sturdy while flexible enough to add additional run space. I wasn't disappointed. In fact I am thrilled. It took very little time to erect. The ladder wasn't really a problem - I put a large stone at the bottom for my girls to use as a launch pad. They love it because it is spacious. I love it because cleaning only takes 5 minutes now. It is fox proof. The feeder protects their food from the rain. It is absolutely the best!

I found the instruction booklet a little confusing, so it took me quite a while to get started on the assembly of the house. However once I worked out which side panel was which and which way round it went... it was pretty straightforward to put together. Give me a piece of furniture to self assemble any day! The run was easy enough to do and the 3 pheasants I have in there are happy enough. It is a very useful addition to my chicken/pheasant paraphernalia. Easy enough to move and use and I like the way the tray can be removed for easy cleaning and how easy it is to open and shut the door...I will be using it for my youngsters in the future.

It has just withstood the test of 80 mph winds and sweeping sideways rain on our south west facing Welsh hillside, with flying colours! It stood firm and with the heavy duty Cube run cover in place, no leakage what so ever. We are VERY impressed. The internal "guttering"works well and is great design. The house is well ventilated but warm. So easy to keep clean. We will never return to wood! Most important the chix love it. As we put together our Cube and walk in run they showed great interest and hung out with us, taking peaks inside. Their 12 year old traditional "Forsham" house stood next to the finished Cube but as soon as the Cube was ready they were all in it by their own choice and no problem going up the ladder to bed on their first night. They had all laid eggs by the next morning. They completely ignore the old house which they grew up in, and are happy to spend the day on their high perches in the walk in run if we are out. Chickens are obviously pretty smart and discerning birds! Well done and very good customer service as well! I will send a photo when the sun comes out(?). Thanks for a great product.

My purple Eglu Go arrived with two friendly omleteers in driving rain and winds. Despite the foul weather, the two gents set the go up for me and we quickly settled in three new pullets. I've kept chickens previously, and bred both layers and table birds. I can safely say that the Go is the best coop I've seen. It's lovely to look at, sturdy and secure, and best of all it is a doddle to clean. The hens love it and they had both laid eggs and tucked themselves in for the night after just one day. My only comment would be to say the colour in the photo on the website is not totally accurate- it's a lighter, slightly pinker tone than the photos suggest, but still looks fab. Highly recommended.

We spent a long time going back and forth between whether the Eglu Cube really was worth the price tag and I only really managed to talk hubby into getting one when I fell pregnant. Two years later I have to say it's genius. It takes literally 60 seconds to do the mid week clean out. The height makes it incredibly easy to clean out without breaking your back (even when your pregnant), there is no sticking your head inside a smelly damp wooden house trying desperately to get it vaguely clean, and even the big hose out clean doesn't take long. Red mite is a distant memory and we've saved a small fortune on not having to treat the chickens. It is easy to move around, and I love the purple! The chickens love it, we've had as many as 10 and currently have 8. I will say it takes 10 chickens with plenty of room, although we don't have the run as our chickens are 'free range' so I can't comment on that suitability. Wouldn't be without it now. So impressed even two years later that a few days ago we ordered a matching purple 'Piglu' with the anticipation that it will just a good a home to our guinea pigs as the cube has to our chickens.

Very good product, easy to clean and not too difficult to assemble. My major criticism is the ladder. The spaces between the rungs are too wide and the ladder is too short. My Brahmas find it very difficult to use. Please redesign it! I would buy another cube if the ladder was resigned.
