The eglu cube is very well thought out and easy to clean. The chickens love it. I have removed the ladder and replaced it with an old rabbit hutch which they like to go in and jump on to for access. As I now only have 2 girls and a very large cockerel, they all sleep in the egg bit and lay in the hutch! This works better as the only egg in the right place was trampled! My only worry is for very bad winter weather. I have now put the whole thing in the garage. We leave the door open by day so they are sheltered and so am I for cleaning. It is brilliant! Note we do live in Southern Scotland fairly high above sea level.

The Cube is one heck of an investment but as our girls are pets, we didn't mind. The Cube is sturdy and well ventilated. Hub and son struggled a bit with assembly which is unusual for them. Good points: strong, durable, easy to clean, easy to let the girls out and collect eggs and it looks good. Hopefully fox proof too. Could improve: door on side of run definitely needed to poo pick or reach chickens if needed, pull out trays seem to need to click into place (not easy), not easy to move forward and even worse to reverse. Worst thing is the ladder - I have three big girls who find it very difficult and we have had to make a ramp for them to get up and down safely. May be better for agile Banties. It's such a lot of money to pay - it's almost there but not quite. The concept is great but please sort the ladder and the side door issues.

I love my cube it was delivered on time I cant say it was easy to put together as my brother in law did it whilst we were camping but I have to praise omlet I had a dodgy poo tray which they replaced quickly and free of charge and im happy and so are my chooks. I agree with so many omletteers that the ladder is not ideal my chooks tend either launch them selves of it or use it as a slide I expect I injured chook one day ill have to look for a replacement or put some wire on it but they climb up it ok its just coming down. Its so easy to clean which for me is a bonus !! I don't have a bad word to say well worth the money !!!

Excellent product, expensive but would recommend it to others!

The eglu go was pretty easy to put together and is nice and simple to use. My kids like opening the door to let the hens out. A couple of things that could be better: the feeder has pretty small holes so only 2 hens can feed at once and mine have big combs so have to push their heads through. The nesting box is pretty shallow and my hens managed to kick out most of the shavings each night.

I was a little worried about spending so much money on a chicken house - but it's worth every penny! After months of trying to get rid of red mite we decided to abandon house and purchase a new one! The chickens took to the cube immediately and the chickens who once annoyingly stayed in the cosy egg box of our old house now stay with the others on the clever perch style floor of the cube- so no chicken poop near the eggs now! Another huge plus is the speedy weekly clean! We line the poop trays with newspaper with a layer of wood shavings on top so they can be pulled out and cleaned super easily. We also just need a good cloth and disinfectant to clean the house- no more scrubbing!!!!! The last huge benefit is the darkness inside the house. Our chickens now sleep for an extra hour in the morning! I slept in this morning til after 8, ran out thinking they'd be noisily waiting for their door to open - but they were calm in their dark cosy home. Can't recommend it enough!

Got this eglu go a few weeks ago. Easy to build. Looks great. I got a run extension and so glad I did as it would have been way too small without it. Iv got 3 hens in the eglu and they seem very happy. I don't think you could house any more than 3 hens in the eglu go. first time keeping hens and find it a lot of fun. Had 2 clip their wings today as one hen flown over my 7ft fence. That surprised me and the hen. Thank you to omlet for everything. 1st class.
