We already had an Eglu Classic, but having recently hatched one chick and bought another our flock was up to 4, so decided to invest in the Cube - it is great, well made, easy to clean, all as expected, but also easier to move around than the Classic, although we still use this as well at the moment for the chicks & their "mum", so had to buy another chicken when bought the Cube to keep the other one company - so currently they all have plenty of room, but will eventually put all 5 in the Cube.

Looks good water and food containers rather large and not that easy to attach very easy to clean tray and nest area

I bought this for my mothers 60th birthday as she has been talking about getting chickens for years. She was absolutely delighted with it. She says it is such a well thought through design it makes small scale chicken keeping very easy and looks lovely too! She now has three bantams very happily living in their Eglu. Bonus is that it is so easy and quick to clean out, no excuse for not being house proud! They also enjoy outings into her lovely garden, which surprisingly they have not wrecked - yet!

Great item. Plenty of room for them to move around in. Easy to clean and move around the garden. Simple to put together and looks great to. Great improvement to the old wooden one we had.

Access holes moulded into the panels to allow access to the securing screws holding the pen in place would make detachement easier. IIThe nest box needs to be deeper as the hens instantly push out all the nesting material. The roosting bars need to be higher above the droppings tray. These details aside, we're very happy with the ease of cleaning and the security from foxes. Chooks seem to like it well enough. We bought the rain cover and a sun shade making the setup really convenient. They need some out time though as the standard run is not big enough to keep them happy.

Had this as a 25th wedding anniversary present!! I do pet boarding and this summer was asked to board chickens for the first time. It was so easy and comfortable for them lots of headroom- they laid an egg in the house each day. I found it fairly easy to move but I am used to moving heavy duty hutches around. Cleaning was painless; quick and simple to hose the base whilst the animals were in the run.The rabbits and guinea pigs took to it well,very spacious accomodation. It was so handy, and unlike a wooden run did not need to be taken off the grass each evening to minimize damp damage except they had no drinking vessel inside the shelter. Well worth the money so far....

This is a lovely addition to our garden and a great home for our girls. It's easy to clean, hygenic, and simple to move around the garden. We have the 1m extension which is important as our girls spend a lot of time in the cage.

Chickens only just moved in but everything seems ok with it so far

I bought the eglu go as I needed somewhere to put my growing chicks before they are big enough to go into the omlet cube I have with my big girls. I did look at some other makes of small plastic housing first, but I have always been really happy with the cube in particular liking the double layer plastic (never too hot or cold), the roosting bar set up - meaning they don't stand in their poo, having a really solid run attached, and ease of cleaning. Which all omlet houses have. I would have given 5 stars for the go but coming from the cube which has a sectioned off nesting box I really don't like the open plan nesting box in the go - my chicks move all the nesting material around blocking up the gaps between the roosting bars - and yes this may be because they are young and not using the box for laying yet but it is my main issue with the go. I wish I had put the door panel of the run in the position next to the house door so I could get to the house to clean the outside of the door - muddy feet make a mess but I can solve that at some point by taking the run off and moving it, as putting it together was easy - I did it by myself. I didn't like the feeder and drinker that came with the go so have purchased the ball shaped ones which look nicer and work better - but that's me being picky! I am pleased with my purchase (esp after seeing one of the other makes of plastic chicken houses recently in the flesh and seeing how flimsy it is!) - and am now hoping we can build a walk in run so I can have the cube and go together in there! I don't think anyone will feel they should have purchased a different chicken house if they ordered a go (except maybe the omlet cube - as they will prob find their chicken population growing as it is addictive :-))

excellent house, seems secure and well designed. the runs appears to be too small really and wouldn't be happy keeping three chickens it it permanantly.
