Two years ago I build my own hen house and run, I was so proud of my self and our 3 hens seemed very happy - that was until the mites arrived!!! It became impossible to erradicate them dispite how many times I cleaned them out and treated it and the hens. When I took the plunge and bought the Egloo Cube I dismantled my home-made contraption and discovered millions of the mites hidden away from my cleaning efforts. No such problem with the egloo. It is so easy to manage on a daily basis and I even look forward to giving it a thorough clean every three weeks. Its actually worth every penny and it looks great in the garden too. Highly recommended.

Have been thinking about getting chickens for ages, and finally took the plunge - and the package from Omlet made it so simple. The man who came got the frame together very efficiently, showed me by direct demonstration how to clip the wings, and that was that! The hen house is lovely and clean, sturdy and secure - the run is also sturdy and we have had no fox problems at all. Still not sure why there is a recommendation to put them on bark chippings - ours are on soil in the veg garden and seem very happy - though they can dig some pretty deep holes. The chickens are so friendly - much more fun for our children than the guinea pigs(!) - and we got eggs only 2 weeks after getting them - and have had 2 a day ever since.

the only bad thing i have to say is the assembly - had trouble with the run brackets/shoulder bolts. screws just did not hold the shoulder bolts in place on top on both sides. however this did not really affect the overall run. and as i am not moving it around the garden have no further concerns with it. other than that am very pleased with the eglu go. easy to clean and my hens have settled in well. helpful to have choice of door on side too. many thanks!

the girls (chickens) really like their new coop, and I like it, as there is easy access to all the parts that need regular cleaning and it is so easy to keep clean. Mega bucks to buy but worth it as everyone is happy. The delivery and assembly was also much appreciated and was eggcelently executed, thankyou.

Having been let down by Parcelforce for 3 days as they kept trying to deliver my Cube to the wrong address, I was apprehensive about how well the Omlet Cube was going to live up to its great reviews - but its fantastic! I built it myself in the afternoon and the newly arrived chickens love it. Its so easy to clean out and requires minimal maintenance. Its also a great feature for the garden. Although expensive compared to some other chicken houses I think its worth every penny.

I do love this cube for my hens..I call it their penthouse and my three hens are now officially pampered however it does have flaws... The only reason that the house doesn't score 5 stars is because a couple of the joints don't line up immaculately, initially this was quite annoying as part of the reason for having an Omlet product is because its a design item. If there's anything else to mention its the ladder, its spacing is quite deep between each step, with little grip; initially the hens struggled to get down it, they tumbled off, flew off, fell off and crashed into the cage run at the end! However they have now mastered it..I want to have chicks reared in there, so not too sure how going to cope with this, will probably have to make a new ladder for them!
