I love it and so do my hens, it’s easy to clean and keep clean

I bought mine in January. Really like the ease of cleaning. I would change a few things. 1. I bought the Omlet 2 as well as a 3 and 9 foot walk in run. I do not know how to move the coop without having to break down the runs as they attach to the coop. 2. Heavy winds break the snaps that keep the tarps on the coop and walk in. I am going to have to zip tie them. 3. I would prefer a ramp instead of a ladder as my ladies do not know how to use it and fly in their coop to go to sleep. My whole purpose for the run was for protection.

Although pricey, they’re well worth the money. My husband found it easy to put together and I love the look of it. Very good quality and well made. The best part of it is how easy it is to keep clean. Our Bantum family are happy campers and we love the electric door. Well worth it.

I had been looking at getting a new coop for a while. I had seen the Cube online, but wasn’t sure I could afford it. After my wooden coop got decimated by raccoons, I knew I had to have it. My hens all survived, but they needed protection and more space. When I saw one up close, I ordered mine the next day. It took me and a friend about 2 hours to put it tog, but when we finished it, we were amazed! The design and size are perfect for my 4 large hens. They love the space and the separate nesting area. They didn’t have that before. I feel confident about leaving the hens in the cube no matter the weather. It’s truly the best coop on the market!

We bought an Eglu Go-Up a year ago for our chickens and found it easy to construct, move around and keep clean. We also bought the fencing to provide them with more space. Knowing it was not predator-proof we always shut the hens in the Eglu at night, but a predator got at them during the day and killed them all! We have now replaced the chickens and are about to construct a walk-in run to give them more space while keeping them safe. I would echo the comment in a previous review that it is a pity the Go-Up cannot be fitted with an automatic door though- that would be a great bonus!

My hens love their new home. So cosy and easy to keep clean. The autodoor keeps my hens safe once they go into the coop and lets them out each morning.

I've had this product for 3 weeks. It is very easy to clean, the hens seem happy, and the door between the roosting area and the nest box is perfect for preventing two of them sleeping (and pooing) in the nest area. Much better than our previous coop. Very happy with the product.

I already have an Eglu Cube and a Classic. With an increase in my flock I needed more coop space and ideally without impinging on the footprint. Hence the decision to get a Go Up. The Cube is the best coop, a really deep nest box area and a droppings tray also deep enough to hold some sawdust and still be pulled out without difficulty. The Classic coop has a shallower droppings tray which is irritating and a space for nesting which takes sawdust or hay but is not very large. But it's adequate. Sadly the Go Up has been disappointing. While serving my need for 'off the ground coop', other features are less than adequate. The droppings tray is so shallow that it will only take a very thin layer of sawdust (and no additional newpaper lining) and when pulled out to clean will either pull the roost bars with it or will squash the droppings against the bars making more mess. The nest space is poor. It is extremely shallow and narrow. The shallowness prevents even a small amount of hay or sawdust eing contained ( the hens scatter it while settling down to lay) and the width is not adequate for my medium size hens. All in all I am disappointed but simply have to clean more each day than for the other coops. were I to be starting again and with a larger flock in mind I would have two Cubes on which can be attached the brilliant Autodoor. Having said all this, all Omlet products are made well and the ease of cleaning and reduction of parastites is excellent.

I have had the Eglu Cube for 3 years so far, there is not one bad thing to say! I have the Cube with 3m run with wheels. I move the house at least once a week to keep the grass nicely maintained. Full clean once a week, extremely easy and quick, on a nice day i like to give it a good pressure wash too. I keep polish bantams in this particular house at all ages throughout the year. I easily fitting 20 growers in the summer to 10 fully grown bantams in the winter. Before moving to Omlet housing i had yearly problems with red mite in wooden housing and the past 3 yrs nothing! So worth it!

Everyday the chickens scrap the bedding out of the nest box when trying to lay leaving it completely bare and gets filled with droppings. I have to fill the egg box everyday with bedding, which is not practical at all. Poor design! Love the Eglu Cube that is superb!
