I do not have an eglu but i bought this cover to go over my run attached to my wooden hen house. It really has helped to keep the ground dry and protect my chicks from the winds. It is very strong and attaches easily to the mesh with the bungees so no flapping covers! I have purchased more of these ready for the winter and have also used them to attach to the side of the run for extra protection if rain is blowing in! My pekin chicks are very happy and have nice dry feet!

I have switched from the traditional wood shavings. The hens don't seem affected by the switch and it is a much nicer material to clean up. There appears to be less sticking and less odour.

This product seemed to work quite well. It does get absolutely everywhere though so be sure to wrap up the bottle after each use. I used it in conjunction with the antibacterial powder.

From the start it was ether a Go or Classic. The Classic is a lot more expensive but the side hatch for retrieving the eggs would be very useful but the door is at the end. I bought a Go plus extra door panel. It would be useful if a discount had been applied for the side panel that I no longer needed. I am going to have the whole coop + run raised on a 'log roll' base filled with Playground wood chips. Then it will be even easier to clean the Go. I found it difficult to mount the drink and food from my chair so I have the food mounted on a Feeder/drink stand. The drink is an auto drink suspended from the top of the run. After five weeks I am now having 10-12 eggs a week and am very pleased.

These pegs work very well indeed. The area our Eglu is on is quite uneven but these pegs fixed the run firmly to the ground. The drill attachment is simply genius!

My new hens just love it but wouldn't come outside for three days until my husband made a wooden ramp for them! An enormous gale last night but still they were warm and cosy.

I bought the extra door panel so as to be able place food etc both at the end and at the side of the run. I find this to be very useful. On the down side, I now have a spare panel that is surplus to requirements. It would have been nice if I could have made a 'swap'.

Although this only adds a further 1m in length, it is surprising what a difference it makes. So gives a couple of hens lots of extra room. It was easy to add on, and still makes the whole system feel safe and secure.

This was first time used this brand & my girls really took to it so have decided to stay with it for time being.

So pleased with my Eglu Go. I have kept chickens for years and have had all types of houses and runs, some home made, some purchased. Now I only keep a couple of girls in the garden and this product is superb. Easy to put together, pleased with the material, the design and how easy to clean it is. Also it is easy to move around the garden. I have added the run extension, which was fine, but now also have the netting to give the girls a bit more range. Altogether a brilliant set up. Two very happy hens and one happy owner.
