My Green Eglu cube was expertly assembled on its prepared area by a charming engineer and it was clear to see how robust and ingeniously it was constructed. My 5 pretty assortment of 'chooks', (purchased separately) are happily esconsed, feeding well and looking healthy. The cube is easy to clean out and stills smells sweet after one month and, although we have had regular visits from Mrs Fox, she has not even attempted to enter the impregnable Fort Cube! As a novice chicken keeper I found the instructions and advice from Omlet very helpful. I am now patiently awaiting eggs!

Easy to clean (apart from the step by the door). Solid enough to be dragging around the garden.

Very pleased with this product and so are my hens! They took to it straight away, although the ladder took some getting used to, and getting in to the Eglu itself. It was easy to construct (all by myself) and the instructions straight forward. Great to clean and no annoying mites to be seen! Not sure about the gaps where the dropping trays slot in, bit too draughty maybe. Overall a good investment for my hens.

In reply to a previous review these are not for ladder attachment. Use for bolting run to coop.

Much better than the old style wooden bars - particularly pleased to see that they came in 2 sections for easier removal.

I found that it is a good basic house and run to start off chicken keeping. The house door lock is very secure.I found however it took longer to put together than the instructions. The house is hard to clean properly as you cannot pull it a part. The nesting box seems to shallow as the hens keep kicking out the bedding and they won't lay in it. They lay in my Eglu Classic which has a better nesting box and is easier to clean.The Eglu Go does seem more spacious than the Eglu Classic.

I was very sceptical, having read mixed reviews but having tried it I can vouch that it has worked and my girls will have feathers in time for winter!

I bought a spare set of Eglu cube bars a few months ago so that I could quickly exchange clean bars for soiled ones allowing me to scrub them at a more convenient time. I had intended this strategy for use in wet, cold, winter weather but in practice I use this scheme all the time, in sunshine or showers. This makes it a lot simpler to keep on top of the cleaning jobs and anything that makes cleaning the coop easier has my thumbs up.

Really pleased with the Eglu Cube, having used a more traditional wooden house & runs beforehand. There is more room for the chickens, as the ladder is above the ground and they got used to jumping up quite quickly. The door lever is very useful. The best benefit is ease of cleaning, in my opinion. Not entirely conviced that all elements of our purchase were brand new though as the door hooks and the part of the run caging had some rusting on delivery. Overall, very pleased and glad that the chickens are off the ground. Using ours for 4 hybrids and wouldn't want to use it for any more unless we bought the extension run.

A very sturdy construction but then it should be for the price. 2 points though.- We have replaced the ladder with a plank of wood. In the mornings they would come out and slip on the slope outside the door, put a leg through the gap between the house and the first rung and then have to fly down. The ladder should have an extra rung at the top. It would have been nice to have sliding vents in two of the sides so you could control the ventilation between Summer and a howling blizzard. Apart from that , we are very pleased. Mike and Karen Snow
