The order for delivery in Poland was delivered on time and in good order. It is installed in my back garden where it now comfortably houses eight hens. I free range the hens so the small run is open at all times and I use an Omlet 21 M netting fence to ocnfine the hens to one half of the garden away from the vegetable patch. Assembly presented no problems. If I have any reservations they are concerned with the ventilation which may be too much in our severe Polish winter and I may have to find a way to minimise draughts when temperatures plunge to minus 20 C in the winter and fine driven powder snow is forced into nooks and crannies - I will find out next winter. For now the hens happily put themselves to bed every night and I secure them when they ar e in and let them out in the morning confident they are secure from local foxes. I think the steps are really not appropriate and do find fault with them. My hens found them impossible to negotiate and looked to be in danger of injuring themselves so I immediately constructed a wooden ramp with cross pieces providing traction and they are happy with this arrangement - I would implore Omlet to reddesign this feature as I know others have had similar problems. This weakness is why I have rated the cube as Good and not given it the top rating. I am pleased with my purchase and woud recommend it to anyone, especially because it is hygenic and easy to keep clean.

brilliant. Couldn't have been easier for a beginner.

Holds lots of water and is easy to fill with a hosepipe without removing it from the run but it tends to fill up with dirt and consequently the water turns green pretty quickly. Also rather pricey imo.

Great product the product was assembled for us the three new girls moved in our existing chicken Bella understood the ladder and explored and loved it.The cube is easy to clean and all the new chickens are now laying. It is expensive but it is low maintainance and you will not have red mite problems it will last longer than wooden arcs it look funky too.

My Eglu Go is perfect for our small-ish garden. Well designed and easy to clean and move around. Chickens great too - started laying withing days. Great product.

On reflection this was rather a large bag to buy for two chickens but I liked the idea of being organic etc. Whilst they do eat it, I have found they much prefer the pellets mashed up and I have to use a pretty heavy duty pestle and mortar to crush the pellets. Add a little water to the crumbs and they go down even better. Next time I will buy a smaller quantity and probably look for an organic mash type food. Adding a little bit of bokashi bran to the mash seems to help as well.

Having bought a second hand eglu - I found the bolts and washers were missing. So good to find there were replacements available - did the job brilliantly.

Simple to manage.

A good, solid product, bit difficult to get in to clean it thoroughly without unclipping it! However, that is a minor issue, the chickens seem very happy!
