Great idea, but my chickens didn't really like the flavour.
Matt, DEVON,
Fit well in the holder, look like a great idea, but after a week in the run none of my 6 girls are interested apart from an exploratory peck. They are admittedly quite fussy though! The holder is great and I use that for all sorts - just not these treats.

Superfoods Chicken Treat 600g
Gilly, Berks,
I love the idea of this. Unfortunately my chickens leave it in the dish. But I will persevere by adding just a little at a time to other treats until they get used to it and hopefully like it.

Not so keen on this one.
Rosalind,
Lots of pellets and not many berries. They prefer herb one (bantams)

Herbal wormer
Heidi,
The wormer is in Tiny pellet form. Looks easily eaten. Unfortunately our hens don’t care for the smell. They shake their heads and walk away. We tried putting them in minimarshmellows. They eat around it. I haven’t been able to hide it in something where they will eat it and not find it. I personally like the smell of the herbs. I think we just have oddball hens. I will be giving some to friends to see if their flocks eat it since mine are picky chickys!

But do they work?
Pete,
My hens like these, but maybe just because they add a nice green speckle to the bland uniform grey/brown Omlet food (mine are grass lovers!). It remains to be seen if they work, but so far, so good.

Hanging seed decorations
Christina,
The chickens weren't over impressed with these items, but the rabbits enjoyed nibbling away at them.

Organic Pellets
Mary,
On reflection this was rather a large bag to buy for two chickens but I liked the idea of being organic etc. Whilst they do eat it, I have found they much prefer the pellets mashed up and I have to use a pretty heavy duty pestle and mortar to crush the pellets. Add a little water to the crumbs and they go down even better. Next time I will buy a smaller quantity and probably look for an organic mash type food. Adding a little bit of bokashi bran to the mash seems to help as well.

Fragile - handle with care!
Diane,
The first one I tried to hang up was the ring shaped one and it broke as I tied the red ribbon supplied to my longer piece of string, so my bantams had that at ground level, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I took extra care hanging up the other 2 shapes and they the hanging up process survived intact, but as you say it didn't take long for them to be devoured! I have tried larger, heavier, stickier versions and these have lasted much longer as anti-boredom devices.

Bokashi Active
An Omleteer,
This seems like an excellent product so far. I've only used it as a feed supplement to date and the girls love it. Only downside is, although the price is very reasonable, the high delivery costs make it rather expensive so I don't know if I'll be able to continue buying this. If all items were lumped under one delivery charge it would be helpful.

Verm-X
An Omleteer,
Would have given this higher rating but have only just used product so little early to tell if successful. Bantams did try to avoid eating pellets so not all consumed but hopefully enough to do the job. Easy to administer and simple instructions. Would recommend you give it a try. Best aspect is that there is no egg withdrawal.
