I use this inside my Eglu 3m run and I fits diagonally almost corner to corner. The fixing points are strong and secure. My girls love perching on it and so far I’ve seen 5 of them perched at the same time. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of one negative point, the perch is joined in the middle with a metal tube and as my girls are large birds the perch does start to bend in the middle slightly so maybe the 2 of the shorter perches would have been a better option.

Well made and easy to fit.

I'm glad I bought the perch for my walk-in run as the hens love it and it gets their feet off the ground if it's wet. At first I was a bit annoyed you had to cut the wood to fit the run when that's what it's designed for, but then I realised you could have it crooked and use the whole length of the perch. You could probably make something yourself, but this is neat and easy.

Really delighted with this smart perch. Sure the girls will be happy with it too.

Great addition to the chicken run that the chickens use all the time. Easy to assemble and move if initial positioning wasn't right. I would recommend this item for all eglu users as the chickens love it.

The girls love this perch, they are on and off it all day. We have fitted it diagonal in our run extension so they have lots of room. Easy to fit, although one of us did have to crawl in the run, but the girls didn’t seem to mind. Great buy.

My girls absolutely love their perch and I love how easily its fitted to their run! The brackets on each end literally fit to anything and its held by simple screws. Its really strong and added more stability to the run.

Our girls love their new perch and started using it as soon as we put it in their run.

I admit that when I ordered the 2m perch, I wondered whether I was spending good money on a glorified broom handle...but actually this is a very clever design and I don't regret buying it at all. I have it diagonally in a Mk1 2m x 3m walk-in run. I already have a homemade standalone perch and this Omlet perch is a great addition, that no doubt will be well used by my hens.
