easy to handle and easy to clean out from nesting box when necessary, but does seem a little coarse and hard.

A great value, very good poultry bedding, which does exactly what it claims! It is just a pity that it is so difficult to find stockists, so thanks to Omlet, although I would prefer not to have to pay postage.

I use Easichick bedding in the nesting box, and the chickens seem to be happy with it. I also put it in the droppings tray on top of newspaper and i find it soaks up the excess water in the droppings and it makes it much easier and less messy to remove them.
