With an overall height of 1.25m, (which is taller than most chicken fencing), you can be confident that even the most determined of your feathered friends won’t make a great escape! The poles of the fence are also adjustable to ensure that the netting remains tight and secure at all times.
Perfect For Smaller Poultry
This poultry fencing is also suitable for use with smaller chickens like bantams. The fencing has the same size holes from top to bottom that are approximately 50mm wide.
PLEASE NOTE - This fencing is intended as a means of keeping your chickens in a contained area. It is not predator proof and cannot be electrified. The fencing will arrive folded down the middle and as a result you will need to unfold it. It may have a temporary crease when first assembled but this will disappear after a short period of use.

The fencing has done the job. one extra pole included in the kit would have been good as my structure was a rectangle rather than a square and one long stretch flops a bit.

The Omlet fence I purchased arrived on time, it was packaged very well and did not have any damaged pieces. It has been up for 2 weeks now and is maintaining 2 chickens and 3 ducks very well. Considering the low cost of the Omlet fence, and the fact it does its job, I feel it is well worth the money. I give it four stars , I feel there could be some improvement in the directions booklet, to make the set up easier. There is also one fence post for the gate which needs to be packed separately from the other posts to prevent confusion to the customer.

Assembly is ok, on a par with Lego or IKEA instructions. Which is to say the information is all there, check the drawings carefully for details. The kit is designed for an enclosure. If you are using the fence as a strip, the gate/endpiece may not position conveniently, so there may be some amendments required. Likewise if you need 2 openings.
MK2 fencing vs old style - Ddc,
Initially when I received this fencing (it was my 2nd time purchasing Omlet fencing), I was disappointed because it wasn't like the old style; which in my opinion, was cuter. I also had to finagle the two together, as they were incompatible. Many months later, I have decided why the newer fencing (Mk2) is better than the old (Mk1). We've become aware of foxes and some new kits in our area. Today, nearby the fence area, I spotted fox droppings. So I began closely inspecting the perimeter of my Omlet fence line (both newer plastic & older woven cloth), I discovered 7 chewed through places on the old woven fence. None of the plastic fencing had been touched (or at least not damaged). The old woven fencing which I originally favored, will now go away, and I will be purchasing more Mk2 fencing. Also, because of the nocturnal predators which we have in the area, I do shut the Omlet coop door every night to keep my chickies safe.

Being New to backyard chickens I needed a way to let them out of their house. The Omlet chicken fencing was a lifesaver. I'm delighted with this product. My chickens can be set up to kinda free roam for hours. Just today they spent all day cleaning out one of my flower gardens for fall. Money well spent.
