Hi I am using my moms phone.I need some help it is Covid and no one is helping me because Covid my syrian female hamster ate way to much grass and has had a stomach ache for a few minutes now she has some poo around her butt it’s a little layer and I’m super scared can some one help!!!! What do I do she is still active but she has a really bad stomach ache HELP!!!!!!!!

We had a Syrian Female which I only purchased in May 2019. She was very active at first but lately she didn't want to do much other than eat but there was no obvious signs anything was wrong. I picked her up regularly. This morning, April 2020 she's dead by her food bowl. Would this have been old age or heart attack? I've not had her a year but could she have been older when I bought her? Purchased from a famous pet chain.

my hamster was acting complexly normal up until this morning, but now she's wobbling and looks so weak. She is eating but very slowly and takes frequent pauses while doing so. I tried getting her to drink water but she just wouldn't. I really don't want her to die, and I don't know what to do. anyone has any ideas?

We keep reading how we can’t pass Covid-19 to our pets and vice versa, but my son’s 1.5 year old perfectly healthy hamster died this morning from the same symptoms. She started to get sick one week ago and ended up in respiratory failure last night. It was awful. How is that possible? Has anyone had any experience with this?!

Our hamster looks very wobbly and is breathing very fast. She keeps wiping over her ears and her eyes are half closed even while trying to walk around. Poor thing...wish I could help somehow. Vet has just said it's prob old age, but it's come about very quickly and we just cleaned her cage this afternoon. She hasn't made her bed as she usually does & not eating either. I guess it must be the end :( though she is almost 2yrs old so must be grateful. Just feel like I should be doing something to help her...

Hi, we got a dwarf robo hamster about two years ago. Gokus trust, and temperament seemed normal for about two years then changed like overnight. It started with him seeming stressed or scared, possibly in pain? I would go to pick him up and he would seem anxious. Then one day he started chewing his log that he would never chew. I mean it was overkill on it, he chewed 80% of the log in two weeks time. I was shocked, then I noticed his eyes looked to “bulge” out. His last symptom is I could hear a tap, tap, tap, coming from his plastic enclosure. I looked inside and he was scratching himself then putting his foot in his mouth repeatedly. Please do you have any idea what is wrong with him? Thank you.
