Parasites are pretty incredible beasties when you think about it. They have evolved to take advantage of their host and thrive at another's expense. However they are undeniably gross and these pesky opportunists will live just about anywhere they can on your dog. Dog parasites can be microscopic to just about visible and unfortunately some of them can be spread to you, so its especially important that they are kept under control. Fortunately, with early recognition and treatment most parasites are relatively harmless.
