Rabbits sitting in the Eglu Go Hutch rabbit run Rabbits sitting in the Eglu Go Hutch rabbit run

The Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch is the simple, stylish, straightforward way to keep pet bunnies. Suitable for two medium sized rabbits, this will make a wonderful home for your new friends. It has been designed to enable pet rabbits to express their natural instincts, offering them a fun environment that will make them feel really at home.

The Eglu Go Rabbit House offers two main areas for your pet to explore. The colourful hutch is a wonderful hidey-hole to eat, sleep and snuggle up in, and the optional secure 2m run is perfect for enjoying a hop around and some fresh air. The biggest benefit of having a hutch and run in one is your pet's freedom to go in and out as it pleases, according to its own routine. As a result, your pet will be happy, relaxed and easier to handle.

Low Maintenance Rabbit House

Keeping the Eglu Go Hutch in order is easy thanks to its clever design. This rabbit house has wipe-clean surfaces and a slide-out bedding tray to make it easy to clean, and, made from energy-efficient polymers, it never needs to be treated. It is a hygenic home for your pets, naturally weather resistant, and at the end of its life it can be recycled.

Cleaning the Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch is a doddle, and just a few minutes each week will keep it looking (and smelling) smart and fresh. The large door at the back allows easy access to the house, and the slide-out tray makes it quick to change your pet's bedding. The droppings make a great fertiliser for your plants, just add them to your compost bin. The Eglu's smooth plastic surfaces do not absorb moisture, making it more hygenic than a wooden hutch, and it can be washed all over with a quick blast of a hose or pressure washer. Easy!

A pet bunny in the spacious rabbit run Inbuilt wire base to prevent tunnelling from inside or outside the run.

The Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch can be purchased with a 2m run, suitable for two medium rabbits to hop around in. Made from strong, steel weld mesh, it is virtually impossible for predators to break. You will also receive a large piece of Rabbit Underfloor Wire to place under the run which will prevent your rabbits from digging out.

The run comes in sections for easy transportation and storage, and it can be put together in minutes. Once assembled, you'll find that it really looks the part, with a dark green coating that blends into the garden beautifully. The run has spacious vertical sides, increasing in width to 125cm and reaching a height of 80cm at the end, giving your pets plenty of room to stand upright, and the run door can be opened to stroke, feed, or lift your rabbits out regularly.

Topping up the rabbit food bowl in the Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch Topping up the rabbit food bowl in the Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch

The Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch comes complete with a hay rack, feed bowl and water bottle. The hay rack is mounted on the inside of the removable back panel, making it quick and easy to fill or remove. This is very handy as rabbits are herbivores, and they will munch through a lot of hay (in fact, it should form the main part of their diet).

Water is very important to pets too, and the water bottle fits into the hay rack inside the house. Keeping the water in the Eglu rabbit house means that it is protected from direct sunlight, reducing the formation of algae, and the water is unlikely to freeze during winter due to the insulation of the house.

The stainless steel dish can be placed inside the Eglu, or in the run, and it is ideal for filling with dry food or fresh vegetables. Yum!

Easy Access

Eglu Go Hutch covered in snow. Twin wall insulation to keep pets warm in Winter

The Eglu is specially designed to keep your pet rabbits warm in the winter. Its unique twin-walled insulation system works in a similar way to double glazing, trapping a pocket of air between layers to keep the house well insulated.

...and Cool in Summer

In the unlikely event that we have a sweltering summer, you can be safe in the knowledge that your bunnies will be kept cool in the Eglu. Its draught-free ventilation system allows fresh air to circulate whilst preventing air from blowing directly over the bedding area.

The Eglu Go Rabbit House in a garden The Eglu Go Rabbit House in a garden

The Eglu Go Hutch has a rabbit run large enough to give your pets the exercise they need to develop strong bones and stay fit and healthy, and they will love being able to go in and out of their house as they please. Unlike other runs, this comes with an anti-tunnel base, so your pets won't escape, and your garden will remain intact.

Although grass is great for rabbits, it is possible to keep them if you don't have a lawn. You can keep the Eglu on a patio area, but you should provide them with a deep sand box to dig in.

Connect your Eglu Go to the new Zippi Rabbit Tunnel You can connect your Eglu Go to the new Zippi Rabbit Tunnel system

You can connect the run of your Eglu Go Rabbit Hutch to the new Zippi Rabbit Tunnel System to give your rabbit the opportunity to explore a whole new world! The Zippi Tunnel connects easily and securely to the wire mesh of the Eglu Go Run and can be used to link your rabbit hutch to a larger separate run or playpen. Alternatively you could just build a fun network of tunnels for your rabbit to run down and explore!

The Zippi Rabbit tunnels are both flexible and predator resistant and you can add as many different sections as you like to create a custom rabbit warren in your garden. It is a secure and fun way to provide your rabbit with additional exercise space that mimics their natural environment. Access to any extra rabbit runs or playpens can be controlled by an optional lockout door on the Zippi tunnel.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Eglu Go Hutch is suitable for two medium sized rabbits.
While the Eglu Go is made from strong materials that will withstand sharp rabbit teeth, no hutch is completely chew-proof. Provide your rabbits with plenty of hay and chew toys to keep their growing teeth in shape, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation to minimise the risk of boredom.
Yes, you can buy just the hutch/hide by itself if you already have a run. Do however note that the hutch itself is too small to be the only living space for rabbits, and they should never be kept in with the door closed for longer periods of time
The optional security brackets fasten to the back panel of your Eglu Go, and will make the hutch even safer from predators. This is especially useful if you live somewhere with very dexterous predators like raccoons, or if you don’t want children to be able to open the hutch unsupervised.
If for any reason you're not happy with your purchase you can return it to us for a full refund within 30 days. You will need to dismantle and pack up the hutch, so it's a good idea to keep the original boxes. For your peace of mind Omlet also gives you a 2 year warranty, so please contact us if anything goes wrong and we'll do our best to fix it straight away. Please note the warranty does not cover natural weather, animal and pest damage.
The optional wheels can be used with or without a run, as they are fastened with brackets under the hutch. However, they are most effective when you have a run, as the hutch can then be moved by lifting the run.
If you have an attached run to your hutch or have positioned it in a safe enclosure, you don’t need to close the door to the hutch at night. On very cold and windy nights, or if you think there is a risk predators might be able to get to your pets, you might want to lock the door. If you do so, make sure you let your rabbits out of the hutch as early as possible in the morning.
Yes, the hutch is designed as an all year home, and the insulation will keep your rabbits cosy in winter. In fact, most rabbits are very good at handling colder temperatures and will gradually grow a thicker coat in winter, and moving them in and out is likely to be more harmful. You can help them by adding more hay and straw to the hutch, provide shelter with covers and hides on the run, or add a Extreme Temperature Jacket to the Eglu Go.
Baby rabbits should be kept indoors for at least the first month of their life. Slowly introduce them to the outdoor world during a week or two, starting with 15 minutes and then gradually extending the time every day. This is to make sure their bodies get used to the outdoor temperature, as well as letting their tummies adapt to eating grass.

Happy bunnies! - Amy, Fife,

We’ve had our pet bunnies in this for almost a year now and love how easy to clean it is. I use a small pressure washer. I move it twice a day and the loos get plenty of fresh grass. A few run clips have broke but I replaced them with zip ties.

Great quality product - Kirsty, Suffolk,

So pleased with our new Eglu hutch and run. Really quick delivery, the materials are all great quality, clear and detailed instructions for assembly (which didn’t take too long) easy to clean and our two rabbits are loving their new home.

We Absolutely Love it! - Tracey, Suffolk,

This has been a long awaited purchase for us, with my son spending hours researching the right hutch for our two (half) continental giants - Fluffles and Chives. They are out in the garden in the day but safe and sound and warm at night in the Eglu Go. Joe (12) even now cleans out the hutch as its so easy. We had a shed before and it was always a bit of a chore. Joe set it up with my help, it wasn't hard to set up at all. Very much looking forward to building the rabbit habitat as and when we have saved up the pennies.

Brilliant concept but with product design issues. - Tom, Fife,

This hutch system could be fantastic but there are some design flaws that make it awkward to live with and in some respects somewhat unsuitable. I suspect that seasoned rabbit keepers will know this but to us to us newbies, we overlooked some obvious issues. The overall quality and aesthetic definitely beats everything else out there and the hutch is very well built and secure. I have no worries about its ability to keep foxes and cats out, which was a main priority for us. It's also easy to move around so we can keep our lawn in good condition by just moving the hutch and run a few feet every couple of days. The problems become apparent however upon day-to-day use. The construction process is difficult. I strongly recommend anyone who buys this to use the YouTube video to guide them as this saved the day for us - the instructions are very long-winded, its extremely fiddly and complicated and the plastic connectors for the run do have a tendency to break. I think this product should therefore come part-constructed or there should be an option for an installation service. We have quickly realised that our rabbits point-blank refuse to use the hutch area for anything other than a toilet and prefer to sit outside in the pouring rain and wind, day and night. This means we've had to add another shelter in the run for them to use to keep out of the weather which seems like madness. No amount of trickery with food placement and relocation of litter trays to other areas has altered this behaviour, meaning we're therefore left with what is essentially a £325 rabbit toilet attached to a rabbit run. I also have no idea why the hutch section has not been designed with a window as, on the occasions that we lock the rabbits in there to clean the run or force them out of bad weather, they're inside a small, pitch black box. Cleaning the hutch area is hindered by the fact that the plastic tray on the bottom of the hutch is moulded with shapes that make it very difficult to scrape out or tip into a bin. I have no idea what these shapes and contours are for as they serve absolutely no beneficial purpose that I can see. Further, the sides of the bottom tray do not have lips that are raised enough to prevent sawdust and litter falling over the sides when you remove it. The lid also doesn't come off the hutch so the only way to get inside the hutch to wipe it out is via the rear door and on your hands and knees. We now limit the amount of sawdust/hay that we put in there to the extent that there is a minimal amount of litter that can spill when we remove the tray in the mornings. This seems a shame though given that it's supposed to be a cosy hutch area for the rabbits to sleep in at night. In summary, I think the hutch area needs to be a different shape, possibly with a wider footprint so that you can separate litter area from food and sleeping more easily, potentially attracting them in there. It should also have a window and a removable lid. I also think that the tray on the bottom the hutch needs to be flat and have more pronounced edges to stop litter falling out when you remove it. Another issue we have is down to the door placement on the run. When constructing the run you are given the option to have the door at the end furthest away from the hutch or on the side. We opted to have the door at the end, mainly so the kids can access the run more easily and feed the rabbits. The problem with this of course is that there is now an unreachable area within the run at the other end and near to the hutch door. This makes cleaning this area extremely difficult as there is physically no way of reaching it without dismantling the entire system. In short, another door would be an extremely useful addition. All in all, this is a well built, good looking product that we have no doubt will protect our rabbits from predators and looks good in the garden. However there are a number of refinements that I believe are required to make this product what it should be given the money that it costs. The concept is brilliant but there are some product design issues that really should be considered.

Omlet Says: Hi Tom, Thank you for this very detailed feedback. I have passed your review on to our Product Design Team to allow them to investigate on all the points that you described. Here are a few bits of advice that we would like to give you, that hopefully will help and improve the use of your product. In regards to the use of the hutch by the rabbits: we would advise you to try to alter the placement of the litter tray. If the tray is placed within the hutch it could be putting the rabbits off using it for anything other than a toilet. Perhaps you could try to position it in a corner of the run instead. With regards to having a window in the hutch, rabbits are burrowing animals which means that they normally feel safe and secure in dark secluded areas. The tray is divided into sections to allow for the bedding and food to be kept separate and from moving around as pictured on our website, on the product page. For cleaning, removing the tray should bring most of the bedding out without spillage but for a material like straw, it can tend to get caught due to its long strands. This should be easy enough to remove from inside the coop but if you are not completely satisfied with your current type of bedding, we would recommend trying some different bedding types. There are a few to choose from on the website : Click here. The tray material is smooth and can be easily cleaned with wipes or even a hose and dried down after. We offer the possibility to add an extra door to the run here. We hope that some of these ideas could be useful for you, don't hesitate to contact us for any further question. Yours, Omlet Customer Services team
