@ Avantika, sounds like your pal is having trouble swallowing her food. Make sure she has plenty of water and try giving her food that's smaller. Also check her poop for any sign of infection. Hope that helps.

@ Kelli, I believe it's just stress as your new bird is getting use to its new home. Maybe give it some time and leave it be for the next week but monitor closely if conditions worsen.

Hello so I just got a parakeet yesterday and it is about four months old her droppings are green and it open and closes its mouth randomly and when it breaths it shakes and moves it’s tail can you help me or tell me what it means

Hello, I recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) got my budgie, and he is about 4 months old now I think. Since day 1, he seems to like sleeping a lot. He plays around a little, eats, then sleeps. And the cycle repeats throughout the day. Also, I've notices a couple of times that he likes to sleep on 2 feet and at times tucks his head into his back. Is this normal as he is still young or should I be worried. Note, the environment at my home is pretty noisy and I tend to put him to sleep around 11 pm usually.

I bought a pair of budgies (male and female) about a month ago. The female budgie is picking off the feathers around the beak of the male budgie and his beak and nose look dry. Is there anything I can do? Does the male budgie have an underlying health issue?

Hi,I just bought a budgie pair ,(male,female), about a month or maybe more ago and my female budgie has started eating lesser than usual and making kind of clicking and wheezing sounds when asleep or breathing and sometimes she appears kind of weak and other times she's completely restless and just keeps moving side to side.I'm not sure what's wrong with her and I can't find any of the symptoms in the above list ,can u please tell me what I should do to help her

My parakeet has a broken wing. He is unable to fly now. He has started packing at his wing. I have seen medium size blood droplets on the papers on the bottom of his cage. Today it appears he is pecking at his vent. There appears to be dry white innards at his vent now. Please help me

My male budgie is 5/6yrs old he as been having loose green poos and lots of green wee massive amount iv seen just wee come out of him big circle on floor someone said fatty liver I thought excessive amounts of wee would be kidneys he is fine in him self chatting climbing eating drinking.please help put my mind at rest no avian vet's on hill

Hey...I'm samsi. I have a parakeet bird. It's a adult boy. He is always fluffed and vomits fluid ...he is really sick . His poops are okay. But he isn't responding me. He don't want to eat anything...please help me .what do I do now ...
