My budgie of 7 months got sick yesterday morning and I’m not sure of what. She still eats, drinks water and makes an attempt to tweet a little, but is very puffed up, sleeps, and her feet are cold. I put her in a separate cage so she wouldn’t contaminate the other birds. I don’t really have the money to go to the vet to find out what’s wrong, but I don’t want whatever illness she has to result in her death. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

I have an aviary with 4 male budgies. Two adopted and I am not sure of their ages. One of these has had a change in their droppings-from normal to reddish brown-dark. The others seem to be normal and he is eating and chirping and hopping around and messing with one of the mirrors. Any ideas?

Hello , i gotten my parakeets around 2-3 days ago and his wing has green stain on it. I gotten bird food which was best reacommtion and gotten help with some friends. I probaby didnt change his bowl daily but i doubt it will turn this quickly.

My moms budgie has missing feathers an a bad place on back end under wings..looks black, has bleed looks like..i have seprated her from the other budgie..they dont fight... What could this be an how to treat please.

my daughter thought it would be cool to look at one of our budgies feathers under a microscope. Then she was grossed out by several, probably 6 or 7 tiny white crawing bugs. the birds themselves look fine, are acting fine, they never go outside, is this normal? Are they mites, lice? They are not visible to the naked eye. We would have never known unless she looked under the microscope. They were at the base of the feather, where it would have been close to her skin.

My budgie has an extreme loss of feathers around neck area and on body! What to do? He acts very home otherwise eating drinking active. I notice this increasing after she dropped nine eggs a couple of years ago

My budgie is sleeping more than often, as soon as he wakes up he straight down to his food every time. After he eats he’ll go back to sleep. His feathers are a little puffed up. And he keeps regurgitating for the whole day but hasn’t brought anything up. He plays for a few seconds then tens to go to sleep again. Could this be a sign of illness?

My budgie is sleeping more than usual, he’s also drinking/eating more. After he eats he goes back to sleep. Also he’s pooping like watery. What can I do ? Do I take him to a vet ?
