I need a help regarding my duck. She accidentally quacks loud and shaking her head badly just like she wants to vomit but she don't, she do like that about 3 times a day , since last 3 days , i don't know what goes wrong with her, she is a pet duck . I can't understand what to give her food or treatment? Is this problem is curable at home or may i approach to a vet? Please let me know Thanks

Hi , I rescued 5 budgies from a bad home , when I got them they were feather pulling almost bald . I nursed back to health and they were great for years . I live in the middle of nowhere and closest avian vet is 2 hrs away . First one of the birds named corn beak got sick and was sitting on the bottom of cage , he was sneezing, he started to get very tired during the day and fell off his perch. I don’t know if he hit his head , I had a huge cage custom made . About 6 ft tall . I picked him up from the bottom of cage and moved him up a level to where they eat and drink , he couldn’t stand on his perch. I moved him cages to a small cage that I had 2 other birds in , snowballita and pearl , because the birds all of a sudden attacked poor Snowballita. Her back was bleeding and it was very strange so I separated them . After I put cornbeak in the small cage , he got sicker , he was very thirsty and seemed like he couldn’t see . I hand fed him water w a bottle . I put ginger and mint leaf in the water as at this point he couldn’t eat . This happened so quickly, in a day . It was heartbreaking, I took him out and gave him a bath , then I had him in a little bed I made in a box ,he couldn’t move & and had his eyes closed. He passed away in about an hr . Then I got very sick , had to go to emergency, emergency dentist, emergency infection disease . No one can figure out what wrong. Then big bopper got sick the same day as me . She was s English budgie so was cornbeak. She passed away super quickly. Within hrs . I went to hospital and came home and she was in bottom of cage dead . I got so upset . Now snowballita seems to have the same thing . I know I have to make it to a vet but they have died before I got the chance. I called a few places that could not help . And the closest place is 2 hrs away . I’m giving the birds left water with a few grated of ginger , grinder up fresh mint into their food . Snowballita is eating but her poop is kinda mushy green and there’s a lot of undigested seeds . They r not tame birds left so I can’t handle them like I could w cb & bb .does anyone know what this is ? Snowballita seems to be able to eat and drink & she is not sneezing like c.b& b.b. She is still able to stand on perch . They r eating a sprayed millet bell , they love those , should I take it out and have only natural seed ? What should I do in the mean time until I can get to a vet ? I have a boy in school and am a single mom. I won’t be able to take her till tomorrow . Vet close by time my son gets home . Any ideas on what to do , what’s happening? Could I have given them something? I’m very sick , no doctor can figure out. So it makes it even harder . I don’t wanna stress snowballita by trying to give her a bath but it helped cornbeak for a bit . I just don’t know what to do. Thanks for any ideas or info about what’s going on . Lisa

White nudie with messy feathers, sleeps alot, running poo, no vet that takes small animals here ( vet that does is over 1hr one way) anything I can do to help him?

My female budgie had a long, transparent mucus string dangling from her cloaca. She later pushed it out with a normal looking poop and I have not seen another mucus string since last night. Some people think it might be egg related and others think it's a parasite. Does she need to see a vet?

our pair of budgies had two babies just before last christmas and one died a week later. the other one died this morning of AGY :-( very sad it was far tamer than its parents and could pick it up when you wanted to. it is contagious? he has live with his parents until yesterday afternoon when we decided to separate him from them in case they could catch it too.
