Should I Get A Pedigree Or A Crossbreed Dog?

Purebred and crossbreed dogs have come a very long way over the past few hundren years and it is a very exciting time to choose a unique breed that suits your family lifestyle. When choosing a dog you need to decide if you want a pedigree (purebred parents), a crossbreed (two different purebredbreed parents), or a mongrel (unknown heritage).

Pedigree and mixed breed dogs often come from specialist breeders and can be expensive, whereas mongrels tend to be rescue dogs and don’t carry an expensive price tag. To help you decide which is best for you, here is some advantages and disadvantages of each option.
