Hi, I wanna say, I am 2 yrs in, started w/3 girls for my daughter. They quickly stole my heart, & R my Babies. I am still learning things. Sadly, 1 Event, the most horrible EVER. A lot of us start out not realizing how important their diet can be, the dangers of gas, bloat, sludge, bladder stones. & sometimes, just like humans, 1 can be more prone to UTI’s, stones than others, all things can quickly become deadly. A+ keep researching! *Do not allow inexperienced vet to admin Antibiotic Shot, start w/least powerful antibiotic, preferably oral. If u suspect an infection, go to experienced exotic vet. Don’t wait, they hide illness, by the time u realize something’s wrong, it’s an emergent situation. Find Forums, & Pig Video CHs, invaluable help.

Why when I put my hand down for him to smell me he tries to bite me. Not hard but I don't want him to try. I wash my hands before I do this.

We just adopted two male one year old brothers. One will eat any fruits or veggies, whereas the other is picky. I am new to this, but I found always keep their hay bins full. For breakfast they get a mix of romaine, red cabbage and carrots. For lunch they get one treat(fruit). For dinner another veggie. Pellets are always handy. I find they will ignore the pellets until the middle of the night. Everything I give them is in small amounts. They seem very content with this as it is a routine

They should have pellet food daily as well as hay and fresh veggies. I give my piggies 1/8 cup pellets in the morning and lots of fresh hay then fresh veggies at night. The best thing you can do for them is have a routine so they always know they will have food or food is coming. This helps with taming them as well!

Love on them! They love head scratches between the eyes and back of the head! Cuddle them and present calm energy. Feed them in hand to keep them requiring the love ens
