They're the best! - Bun,

I have now had 7 Rex rabbits (2 x mini), black otter, castor, californian and orange, over the past 15 years (3 currently), they are absolutely my favourite breed. They are beautiful, tactile, intelligent, trainable, mischievious, bundles! They can be quite independent and I've had one I couldn't tame (an adult rescue), but similarly I have one who's a rex x new Zealand and she's so laid back and just wants to hangout and have head rubs. They love their food and are good at problem solving, so thinking you are putting something on a table out of their reach doesn't necessarily work, my wedding bouquet stood testament to this, as well as many vegetables and herbs I've tried to grow for them. I now obtain indoor cages and place the plants inside to prevent the rabbits from killing them, which so far has worked really well. I trained one to do jumps and they've all been litter trained. Most will come to their name being called. They aren't keen on being picked up, as most rabbits aren't but they will come over for a fuss and sit by you for attention and eat from your hand.

Rex Rabbit - Jené,

I recently got my first Rex bunny. He’s a Mini Rex so the smaller version. He is the sweetest and most social bunny. He loves back rubs and lying close to me. I am now in love with this bunny breed!
