History

To read the full history of the Persian breed click here. The blue and odd-eyed bicolour is a fairly new variation in the Persian breed that originated in the UK. It's only since the late 1990s that this has been accepted as an official colour of the Persian breed. Blue eyes are more common than odd eyes as it can be difficult to produce odd eyed kittens.
