We've had two Scottish Folds (male and female) and would describe them at times as the couch potatoes of cats - our girl we have is more active. They are driven by community whether that is other cats or people. Ours is very excited to meet cats, people, or kids. She loves licking people when she meets them and is extremely loving. They do have higher medical care costs because of osteochondrodysplasia and depending on their origin and what they are mixed with. Overall, loving, sweet, gentle cats , but be prepared for vet bills.
